About ChatScroll

Description
Allows you to scroll in chat windows with your mouse wheel.
Hold Ctrl and scroll to go to the top or bottom of the frame.
Hold Shift and scroll to go 5 lines at a time.

Special thanks to Alleris and Uselinux on helping figure out how to do this.

Known Bugs
Will not work on undocked frames.
Will not scroll if your mouse is over a chatlink (name, item, spell, etc.)

I'm having a conflict with the Guildchatcolor addon. I don't know which one is causing what so I'll post this on both of your addon pages.

As many are aware of we have a new mod out there that can change the color of your chat in guild chat. What the problem is now is that the chat scroll mod is seeing the colored text as if it were links like linking items and it won't scroll over the colored text. I hope this is fixable and that this mod is still being worked on since there's not been really any need for any updates for a very long time till now.

Since I moved a chatwindow somehwere else (the combat log), only the combatlog will be scrolled. Not the current default chatwindow. Why is it behaving like this? Shouldn't it automatically use the current window you have mouse-overed? Or isn't it supposed to work that way? Thanks for the addon, it's great when it works like it should. :)

The only thing I could say to try, is to click one your chat tabs, and then try scrolling your chat window. If possible, could you post issues and such on the AddOns forum page: http://forum.runesofmagic.com/showthread.php?t=52537

Ok, I tried the clicking on the tabs window.. still wont work..I was so excited too /sigh.. also I would LOVE to be able to post there for you but for some reason I cant register there .. and it tells me Im banned like forever even though I aint even registered..So I'm stuck to commenting here :( sorry

Well, I really would like to talk to you another way than just comments, but I will look @ the species code, but I am not promising anything. The species project seems to be discontinued and is using old code.

yea I know, the only reason I still use species is because it is the ONLY addon that moves the annoying random box to top middle of screen, otherwise it goes over my spells and I misclick greed if someone loots while fighting..
otherwise I wouldnt be using it anymore .. thanks for trying to help me out anyways:)

Well, guess what, I just made an addon that allows you to move the Roll Frame to where you want on the screen, and save the position. It should be up on curse shortly, waiting on approval. Now you can stop using that dated UI :+)
