About ChatSounds

Monitors whispers and plays a sound any time you receive one. Also monitors the other chat channels you select for the keywords you specify and plays a sound when a message is received with any of the keywords.

Has full support for AddonManager.

Slash commands are: /cs /csounds /chatsounds

I wanted to use this to keep an eye out for anyone asking about bosses.

Seeing as this doesn't work, anyone know if any other addon does the same thing?

OK, I could get a workaround for me. Just edit the SaveVariables.lua BEFORE you install the mod into your addon directory. Insert the following code into your SaveVariables.lua:

The mod informations in the SaveVariables.lua are alphabeticaly sorted. So I insert this configuration after the Booty... settings. You normaly find the SaveVariables.lua in a 'Rune of Magic' folder in 'My Data'.

This fix did not work for me. It completely screwed up my interface. Luckely I'd made a backup of my SaveVariables.lua file.

So it looks like I wont be using this addon. Which is a shame.

BTW SaveVariables.lua was in My Documents\Runes of Magic\ folder. I'm using Windows 7.

I hope uq1 manages to sort things out but the bug is really, really weird. When uninstalling all my addons, then installing THIS addon and bringing the others back one by one: No error.
When installing this addon after all my other addons: Bugged...

It's really weird... Hopefully he'll find the solution though.

Dont miss to backup your SaveVariables.lua if you uninstall all your mods. Because all configuration settings will be deleted after uninstalling a mod and restart RoM. :-)

I used the Curse Client to install it and it still messes things up. First all chats disappear and then, after uninstalling, the Combat Log is stuck so far up the left that I can't move it back.

i tried now it too... lost chat frames
then i checked just inside zip.. it had double folder ChatSounds/ChatSounds
so i just manually unzipped last folder only and it works nice

Tried both 0.04 and 0.01 and the chat-frames still disappears for me.
After uninstalling, my Combat Log got so far up left that I can't unlock it to move it back. Anyone have a solution how to reset my chats to normal?

(And no, I haven't given up on the AddOn yet, I'm looking forward to future releases.) ^^
