DamageText ist ein Addon, welches die normale Anzeige für Kampfevents wie Schaden, Heals, Dodges usw. ersetzt. Sämtliche Nachrichten werden in drei verschiedenen Scroll Areas angezeigt, die frei verschiebbar und konfigurierbar sind.

DamageText is an addon for Runes of Magic which provides an extended display for combatevents such as damage, heal, dodge etc. Every message will be printed in one of three fully customizable scroll areas.

    Sorry more bugs I found but not going to post them as to many. Could post the file somewhere if anyone wants it not sure I got them all yet but hopefully I did now.

    One more thing since there is no way to change the fontsize in the addon once it saves it it will not change it using the method i showed below either unless you delete entries from your savedvariables.lua for rom itself.

    Sorry not very good at coding etc as this is first time i looked at lua etc

    in damagetext.lua find this line

    its around line 595 or so its last line looks cimilar to this in the buff function
    we need to change that line to look like
    if(exists==false)then
    if(DamageText_Settings.active.notDebuff)then
    if(debuffs[i]=="Safe and Sound")then
    DamageText_Settings.aloc.notDebuff=3
    end
    else
    DamageText_Printer("|cffff0000- [ "..debuffs[i].." ]",DamageText_Settings.alloc.notDebuff,false)
    end
    end

    Hmm probably won't format right in here but we shall see
    ok to make sure you have it right here are the lines after it up to one you can tell where we are
    end
    end

    buffs=newbuffs
    note the 4 ends then buffs=newbuffs just make sure you still have 4 ends after what we changed is all i am showing them to you for.

    Ok here is how to make it work in english client at least works for me. Only tested about 3 mins though so might get more errors if you do let me know will see if i can find problem
    Open up the Damagetext.lua file goto line with
    ["version"] = 0.51,
    and add the following after it. You can change the #'s to whatever you want as there the fontsizes. I tried with 16 and 18 and they looked a bit small so changed to these but have not tried since.
    ["fontsize"] = 20,
    ["fontsizesticky"] = 24,
    and we are done editing I just put next line to show you what is after what we added.
    ["sa1scrolltime"] = 3,

  • Any word on this working in English correctly yet? Quizzus's errors are gone and there's no bugs now?

    Kinda afraid to try it so I wanted to ask.

    Change line 339 in DamageText.lua to read:

    layer:SetFontSize("14")

    Substitute your own number for font size. 12 is very, very small.

    Wäre schön wenn du das fürn Krieger zum laufen bekämst, bei den meißten Skills öffnet sich das Fehlerfenster.
    Bei Bedarf kann ich dir ja mal alle Skills aufschreiben bei denen der Error kommt.

    Ansonsten sehr nice.
