"GreenThumb v1.2" - English
GreenThumb provides useful functions for the planting-system of Runes of Magic.
Features:
- Planting empty pots:
By pressing the Ctrl-, Alt-, or Shift-Key while clicking an empty pot, your Bag will be searched for matching seed. The first match will be planted and afterwards irrigated and fertilized.
- Care for plants:
By pressing the Ctrl-Key while clicking a planted pot, the plat will be watered and fertilized to the optimal value.
If you hold down the Alt-Key instead, your plant will be watered and fertilized one time more then necessary.
If the plant is already dead, it will be automatically thrown away.
- Harvesting ripe plants:
By pressing the Shift-Key, a ripe plant will be harvested automatically. I have changed this to allow caring for plants automatically, when the plant is already ripe, but you want to wait with harvesting til the next ingame-morning to raise the possiblity a... "Tautropfen" (dont know the english name, this stuff needed at level 20 for levelup :D) is harvested.
- Buy materials:
If you hold down the Ctrl-Key, while opening the Planting Instructor's Tradewindow, all stacks of water and fertilizer of your current skilllevel will be refilled to 250 items.
- Display:
The plantframe itself has been modified a lot and now also displays information about the pot you are using. Please note that you have to open at least once after installation the tradeframe of the planting instructor, to display all potinformations (everytime trading with this npc a database of all pots is created)
- Chatoutput:
These never-ending "Plant irrigation successful." messages will be removed and replaced by a single line, reporting how much this plant has been watered and fertilized to reach this now optimal state.
- Description:
These functions are also described in a tooltip, which can be found on the textlabel "GreenThumb", located in the lower left corner of every plantframe (see second screenshot)
- Integrated in Addonmanager:
Yes, this Addon integrates with Addonmanager, but theres nothing to setup there :D
Installation
Unpack the Archive and move the Folder "GreenThumb" into "Runes of Magic\Interface\Addons". If this is your first Addon, then these folders won't exist, in that case you have to create them manually. If you want to update to a newer version, just replace this Folder with the new one, thats all thats necessary.
Alternatively you can install and update the addon via the CurseClient, in that case everything will be done automatically.
Configuration
It is not possible to setup anything at this addon, the only control mechanism is that you have to hold the Ctrl-Key to trigger the added function.
Localization
At the moment the languages German and English are supported. It wont work with other languages and you will find information on how you can help adding this support in the tooltip mentioned before.
Ending
How would a person react, when planting with ten characters gets more and more annoying? Most of them will throw this feature away, I wrote this addon instead! Thats why this addon is constructed in a way, that makes it easier for me to work with it. So if some of you don't like these functions as they are now... well thats very unfortunate for you! :D
It is always possible to discuss about certain things, but the functionality should remain as it is now.

"GreenThumb v1.1" - Deutsch
GreenThumb ist ein Addon, das viele nützliche Automatismen rund ums Anpflanzen-System von Runes of Magic bietet.
Features:
- Anpflanzen bei leeren Töpfen:
Durch halten der STRG-, Alt-, oder Umschalt-Taste beim anklicken eines leeren Topfes wird das Inventar nach einem passenden Samen durchsucht. Dieser wird gepflanzt und anschließend gepflegt.
- Pflegen von Pflanzen:
Durch halten der STRG-Taste wird beim Anklicken eines bepflanzten Topfes die Pflanze auf den optimalen Wert gegossen und gedüngt. Wird stattdessen die ALT-Taste gedrückt, wird einmal mehr gegossen und gedüngt womit die Pflanze längere Zeit durchhalten kann, bevor sie erneut gepflegt werden muss.
- Ernten von reifen Pflanzen:
Durch Halten der Umschalt-Taste, wird eine reife Pflanze automatisch geerntet. Dies habe ich abgeändert, um die Ausbeute an Tautropfen möglicherweise zu erhöhen, indem man auf den Zeitpunkt der Ernte achtet. Somit kann man die Pflanze auch weiter gießen und düngen, wenn sie bereits reif ist, um mit der Ernte bis zum nächsten Ingame-Morgen zu warten, was vermutlich die Ausbeute an Grünblatt-Tautropfen erhöht
- Kaufen von Materialien:
Wird beim Öffnen des Handelsfensters des Anpflanzausbilders die STRG-Taste gedrückt, werden alle Stapel von Wasser und Dünger der aktuellen Anpflanzstufe auf 250 Stück aufgefüllt.
- Anzeige:
Die Optik des Anpflanzfensters wurde größtenteils geändert und zeigt nun neben den Informationen zur Pflanze, auch Informationen über den Topf an. Dabei ist zu beachten, dass zumindest einmal nach Installation des Addons das Handelsfenster des Anpflanzausbilders geöffnet werden muss, um Topfinformationen anzuzeigen. (Dabei wird eine Datenbank aller Töpfe angefertigt, die im Pflanzfenster dann benutzt wird)
- Chatausgabe:
Die unzähligen "Pflanze bewässern erfolgreich." Meldungen werden entfernt und durch eine einzelne Nachricht ersetzt, die anzeigt, wie oft eine Pflanze gegossen und gedüngt wurde, um den nun optimalen Zustand herzustellen.
- Erklärung:
Diese Funktionen werden in einem Tooltip beschrieben, der auf einem Schriftzug unten links im Anpflanzfenster gefunden werden kann (siehe zweiten Screenshot)
- Integration in Addonmanager:
Äh, ja, wird zwar dort eingetragen, nur einzustellen gibt es dort nichts *gg*
Installation
Entpacke das Archiv und verschiebe den darin enthalteten Ordner "GreenThumb" nach "Runes of Magic\Interface\Addons". Sollte dies dein erstes Addon sein, wird es diese Verzeichnisse nicht geben, in diesem Fall musst du sie selbst anlegen. Wenn du später auf eine neuere Version updaten willst, ersetzte diesen Ordner mit dem neuen, mehr ist nicht notwendig.
Alternativ kannst du das Addon auch über den CurseClient installieren und auf aktuellem Stand halten. In diesem Fall geschieht alles automatisch.
Konfiguration
Bei diesem Addon kann nichts eingestellt werden, es ist lediglich erforderlich, die Strg-Taste gedrückt zu halten, um eine der Automatik-Funktionen auszuführen.
Lokalisierung
Derzeit sind die Sprachen Deutsch und Englisch integriert, wer mir mit weiteren Sprachen zur Hand gehen will, sei gebeten mich zu kontaktieren!
Abschluss
Was macht jemand, dem das Anpflanzen mit 10 Charakteren langsam tierisch auf die Nerven geht? Die meisten würden es wohl hinschmeissen, ich hab stattdessen ein Addon geschrieben! Deswegen ist das Addon auch so aufgebaut, damit ich schnell damit arbeiten kann. Also wem diese Funktionen so nicht gefallen und sie anders haben will... der hat vermutlich Pech gehabt!
Über etwaige Änderungen kann man natürlich immer diskutieren, aber die Funktionalität sollte größtenteils erhalten bleiben.
