Status Bars

I would also strongly (!) appreciate, if one or some coders could continue that really most helpful (!) little addon. It is still simply a MUST HAVE.

Did someone take this project over? Its really a great project but seems no more developments are happening. If not is their another project just as good?

if the author accepted my work i might plan to create a gui interface for this great addon

hm i love this but how can i change it so it LOCKS when i logout/in to where i want?? i just need some help.. i can do what it takes if someonecan point me the right way lol

dunno how to edit but i got a a macro to alteast to putin where i want when i log in just cant save it there

to hide the anchors
/script statusbars_Target_Container:Hide();
/script statusbars_Player_Container:Hide();

to set the position of the player buff window
/script statusbars_Player_Container:ClearAllAnchors();
/script statusbars_Player_Container:SetAnchor("TOPLEFT", "TOPLEFT", "UIParent",1540,240);

to set the position of the target buff window
/script statusbars_Taget_Container:ClearAllAnchors();
/script statusbars_Target_Container:SetAnchor("TOPLEFT", "TOPLEFT", "UIParent",400,500);

I recommend putting these into macros and just run them when you log in

oh and hiding the anchors seems to also lock them in place.

I would use this addon if only you could hide achrons.

Oh what I wouldn't do to be able to lock the frames by default, and to remove the "Target Effects" text.

I modified it to do so, but I just updated and my changes are gone T.T

Totally like these and I'm looking forward to a function for shrinking them down. Hope you'll figure that out soon. :)

I also have the issue with the position not getting saved but it's not much they're moving around.

By slash commands I mean (at least):

/StatusBars lock : Locks the bars in place.
/StatusBars unlock : Unlocks the bars.
/StatusBars scale # : Set the scale of the bars.

and anything else what might be useful...

Oh and some command to optionaly switch off displaying the window (with type name of buff or debuff) which is above bars would be nice.
Just some simple ideas of how to make it more suitable for everyone.

Great addon. (almost like early CCWatcher for WoW) I'm waiting for slash commands support like in adBuffBars addon and please add position memory because every time I login I have to reposition bars first.
